Buttock Augmentation and correction of buttock cellulite?

The region of the body known as the buttock or glute is composed of fat and the gluteal muscle. The size of the buttock must be proportional to the waist and bust. However in some regions a larger buttock is considered attractive. Weight loss can mean a loss of volume or size of the buttock. Lack of exercise atrophies the gluteal muscle.

 

How can the size be increased again?

Fat injection is a safe procedure if correctly performed. Fat injection must be moderate. Not all the fat removed from a liposuction can be injected. Only 20 to 30% of the fat removed by liposuction can be reinjected. This fat can be placed in the upper part of the buttock giving the sensation of a youthful and full buttock again. Gluteoplasty must always be accompanied by liposuction of the waist to improve and optimize the result.

 

How long does the result last?

 

The injection of good fat or fat that is not destroyed in liposuction is a safe procedure that can last a lifetime.

 

When should a prosthesis be placed?

 

When the buttock size is small and the patient is thin and has almost no fat to liposuction.

 

What type of gluteal prosthesis exists?

 

There are special prostheses for the buttock that are different from those for the breast. The first prostheses used for the buttock were the same as those for the breast and the appearance the surgery gave was very bad. Currently silicone gluteal prostheses and polyurethane ones are the best.
