It is a procedure that can be performed under local anesthesia. A small amount of fat is extracted from the abdomen, and the blood and lidocaine are removed. The fat is then allowed to settle for a few minutes. The remaining fat and stem cells are reinjected with a syringe into the nasolabial folds or lips.
