Dr. Juan Nicolás Pavajeau Turriago is a Medical Doctor and Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, one of Colombia’s most prestigious academic institutions. During his medical training, he received important distinctions for academic excellence, including the Javeriana Order of Academic Merit, the Distinction for Outstanding Academic Performance, and the Outstanding High School Graduate Scholarship awarded by Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
He graduated as a Medical Doctor and Surgeon in 2020 and later completed a Specialization in Epidemiology at Universidad de los Andes, strengthening his training in scientific research and evidence-based medicine. In 2026, he completed his Specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
Throughout his professional career, he has developed solid experience in facial, body, and reconstructive plastic surgery. He currently practices as a Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon at Ciencia y Estética Cirugía Plástica MD, where he performs specialized surgical procedures and provides comprehensive follow-up care for his patients. Previously, he worked as a surgical assistant physician at renowned plastic surgery institutions.

He has participated as an author and co-author of multiple national and international scientific publications in plastic surgery, facial reconstruction, rejuvenation, and innovative surgical techniques. Among his most notable publications are studies on the prevention of postoperative hematomas in facial surgery and advanced facial rejuvenation techniques using diode laser technology to reduce wrinkles in the upper third of the face without surgery. His scientific work has been recognized in various academic settings, including research awards and notable participation in specialized conferences.
Dr. Pavajeau remains continuously up to date by attending national and international plastic surgery conferences and meetings, participating in high-level academic events that allow him to incorporate the most advanced and safest techniques for his patients.
